The Garches and Vaucresson areas are a favourite with international families due to its proximity to the international schools (American School of Paris & German School of Paris). Transport is good, with trains and buses running regularly into the La Defense business district. The area has a good mix of housing from detached houses to apartment blocks with small commercial centres. There are also some beautiful parks in the area. The area is well situated to give a good access to Versailles and Paris for a day in town.
